近，有愛學習的小伙伴，讓幫忙把中文Windows系統改成英文系統，這樣既能學習又不耽擱辦公，一舉兩得。我告訴他，其實不用重做系統，只需在現有的系統中，用鼠標點擊幾下，就可以完美切換系統語言，現在就和大家分享一下。
1、 打開Windows“設置”面板模塊，選擇“時間和語言”
2、 選擇“語言”
3、 點擊“添加語言”按鈕，添加你需要用到的語言，本次以“英語”為例。
4、選擇“安裝”，此時在“安裝語言包”選項中，有個“設置為我的Windows顯示語言”，這個可以暫時不用選擇，待語言添加完畢，在手動切換即可。
5、 安裝完語言包，系統會返回到上一層界面，即“設置”—“時間和語言”—“語言”界面，選擇“Windows顯示語言”菜單，點擊右邊的三角符號，選擇你添加的語言“英語”，此時系統提示“注銷系統”，可選擇“現在”或者“稍后”，系統重新登錄之后，即可顯示你需要的語言系統了。
6、同樣，伙伴們就可以使用第5步的方法，自由切換成別的語言，和手機操作一樣方便嘍。

那么，問題來了，“打開電腦”這一動作，用英語該怎么說呢？
大家都知道，“打開”的英文是“open”、“電腦”的英文是“computer”；

open the door 開門
所以，“open the computer”這個動作，更多側重地是“打開電腦蓋子”；
而“打開電腦”，一般都是在指“啟動電腦、讓電腦開始運行”。
而“開啟”or“關閉”某物，用的是“turn on/off”這組表達。
因此，“打開電腦”的地道英語表達，應該用“turn on the computer”。

通常，用“turn on”表示“打開”的時候，它所修飾的名詞，一般都是某種電器或設備，反義詞是“turn off”。

此外，與“tuon on”相近的表達，還有“switch on”。
在大多數情況下，它可以和“turn on”可以互換使用，主要用于機器的啟動，反義詞是“switch off”。

1.open the window ≠ 打開車窗
當“open the window”表示“打開家里的窗戶”時，這么說是沒有一點問題的；
然而，需要注意的是，當你坐在車里，想要“打開車窗”時，這么說就不對了。
因為，車的窗戶，需要我們手動搖下來，而不像家里的窗戶那樣，可以直接推開。
“打開車窗”的英語，一般用“roll down the window”來表達。
Can you roll down the window?
你可以搖下車窗嗎？
Please roll down the window.
請把車窗搖下來。
Can I roll down the window for smoking?
我能搖下車窗來抽煙嗎？

2.open flower ≠開花
“開花”的英語，不能翻譯成“open flower”，這是十足的中式英語。
正確的表達，應該說成“bloom”或“blossom”。
It is warm, so many flowers are beginning to blossom.
天氣暖和了，很多花都要開了。
This plant blooms between May and June.
這種植物在五六月間開花。
...a pink climbing rose in full bloom.
…一朵盛開的粉色攀緣玫瑰。
Roses are in full bloom in the park.
公園里的玫瑰正在盛開。
3.open school ≠ 開學
這也是一個“中式英語”。
“開學”，指“開啟一個新的學期”；
“學期”的英語，可以用“semester”或“term”來表示。
所以，“開學”可以用“The new semester（term） starts(begins)”來表示。
I hope to welcome the new semester with them happily together.
我希望跟他們一起高高興興地迎接新學期。
此外，還可以用“a new semester kicks off”，來表示“開學”。
其中，“new semester”表示“新學期”；
“kick off”源于足球比賽中的中圈開球，延伸過來就是“開始”之意。
所以，“a new semester kicks off”也就是“新學期開始了、開學了”。
最后，“back to school”和“school opens”，都可以用來表示“開學”。
My sister will be back to school on next Monday and she is quite excited about it.
我妹妹下周一就要開學了，她感到興奮極了。
After long summer vacation, my school opens.
經過一個漫長的暑假，學校終于開學了。
School opens (will break up) tomorrow.
