18日上午，日本京都市動畫制作公司“京都動畫”工作室（京阿尼）遭人縱火，隨后發(fā)生火災(zāi)。據(jù)日本放送協(xié)會（NHK）報道，京都警方19日晚宣布，一名在醫(yī)院接受治療的男子死亡，至此，共有34人因火災(zāi)喪生。

據(jù)“SponichiAnnex”網(wǎng)站報道，19日下午，“京都動畫”社長八田英明談及損失時表示“這是斷腸之痛，難以忍受”。
八田說，公司過去的所有畫作和資料等“全部被燒毀了”。

他說，火災(zāi)發(fā)生時，以為不過是“普通的騷亂”。驅(qū)車趕往現(xiàn)場時，隔很遠(yuǎn)就看到了滾滾的黑煙。“車都無法靠近，也無法進樓里。太悲慘了。我做夢也沒想到會有這么大的慘事發(fā)生。”

21日傍晚，京都動畫就18日發(fā)生的縱火案發(fā)表官方聲明，表示公司將盡可能為死傷員工家屬提供幫助，并暫時婉拒采訪。
根據(jù)日本NHK報道，警方已確定縱火嫌疑人為41歲的青葉真司，住在日本琦玉市的一所公寓。該男子7年前因搶劫被判刑3年6個月，平時靠領(lǐng)取日本低保生活，患有精神疾病。目前，他因嚴(yán)重?zé)齻卺t(yī)院接受治療，警方已對其發(fā)出逮捕令。

Police have cautioned that they need to wait until the suspect is formally interviewed before confirming a motive. Officers were not able to question the suspect on Thursday as he was receiving treatment for severe burns sustained during the attack.
警方通報稱他們需要正式提審嫌疑人后確定作案動機，目前嫌疑人因嚴(yán)重?zé)齻卺t(yī)院接受治療，因此警方無法審訊嫌疑人。

動漫屆的“至暗時刻”
日媒稱，此次遇難的“京都動畫”員工都是全日本各地募集的動漫界精英。
談及傷亡，八田英明表示無比痛心：“發(fā)生了這樣的事，將來也許只能關(guān)門了。遺憾、太遺憾了。對我們公司和動漫業(yè)界來說都是重大損失。每一個（犧牲者）都是優(yōu)秀的伙伴。”

社長八田英明透露，“京都動畫”曾收到過匿名威脅郵件，上面寫著“不喜歡導(dǎo)演”、“表現(xiàn)太差“等內(nèi)容，公司已向京都警方匯報。
